Located in the charming village of Poggio Murella (GR), our company is the guardian of a long winemaking tradition dating back to the distant 1951. With an unwavering passion for Maremma wine, we have inherited the ancient art of creating the "good glass of wine," a concept deeply rooted in our family alongside profound reverence for the land.
Over nearly 50 years of production, in 2004 we embarked on an ambitious challenge: to replant our vineyards, expanding the total area to just over two hectares. This act of dedication has allowed us to continue shaping wines of excellence, in harmony with the territory and celebrating the rich oenological heritage of Maremma.
Who We Are: Custodians of a Family Tradition
Our family reality is the beating heart of every bottle we produce. Through direct management, we create a wine that offers unique sensations to the palate and nose. The passion passed down from generation to generation, starting with our grandfather Lanciotto Bianchi, is reflected in every sip, offering an experience that goes beyond mere drinking.
Sustainable Approach: A Commitment to Land and Tradition
Our commitment to sustainability is evident in every aspect of production. Biodynamic natural cultivation guides our agricultural practices, with exclusively organic fertilization and minimal mechanical operations. This respectful approach to the environment allows us to obtain authentic wines faithful to the territory, capable of capturing the unique essence of Maremma's climate and soil.
With Bianchi Viticoltori, we offer not just wines, but a sensory journey that will lead you to discover Tuscany's Maremma through the glass. We combine winemaking tradition with sustainable innovation, seeking to exceed every expectation and share with you the love for the land and the pleasure of good wine.
Thank you for joining us on this unique oenological journey.
Cheers!
Bianchi Viticoltori
Three generations of winemakers united by passion for the land and respect for tradition. Each generation has contributed its vision while maintaining the authentic values that make our wines unique.
Lanciotto Bianchi started our family's winemaking journey in 1951. A visionary pioneer, he planted the first Sangiovese vines in our Maremma soil, laying the foundation for what would become our family's passion and legacy.
Valerio joined his father in the vineyards after finishing high school, bringing new energy and ideas while respecting traditional methods. In 2004, he led the ambitious vineyard replanting project that modernized our production while maintaining our commitment to quality and authenticity.
Lanciotto Bianchi, began cultivating vineyards and producing Sangiovese wine.
Valerio Bianchi, after finishing high school and starting his business as a craftsman, decided to follow his passion and join his father in wine production.

Due to its success, part of the harvest was destined to the production of bottled wine. Thus was born "Montecavallo", the first wine bottled by the Bianchi family.
